"Landscape Reliquary" Sculptural Installation

Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, 2011 Alma College, 2014 "Landscape Reliquary" was created for the 2011 ARTPRIZE exhibit, "Sculpture Today: New Forces, New Forms", at Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. My goal was to use the Garden's flowers and butterflies as my medium, and bring the outside gardens into the Sculpture Gallery. Landscape Reliquary also reveals the source of much of my work, the "domestic arts", such as the inclusion of dried flowers and the "honey bear", an object in my home spanning four generations.
